  2. Changing Tick Label Attributes

  4. Tick labels identify tick marks and grid lines on the plot frame. Tick label attributes you can change include background color, orientation, numeric format, and type specifications.

  7. Double-click a set of tick labels, or select a graph, then choose Tick Labels from the Graph Attributes submenu (Graph menu).

  10. Choose the axis for which you want to change tick label attributes. (The tick labels you double-clicked or selected in the graph window are selected.)

  13. Specify the tick label attributes you want to apply to the selected axis.

  16. Click the Show button to preview your selections without exiting the dialog.
